Catching up

So I haven't posted in a while.  Regardless here's what today was....

Today was a good day.  It was a pretty average day all around.

Work today was fun. I am really close to finalizing the hardware design of the new system.  I was able to get it under the budget today, happy dance. :) Its a half million dollar system.  I felt a little overwhelmed at first but now I think its exciting.  Its a one of a kind system that needs pretty high end equipment.

After work I came home and played Warcraft.  Almost to level 62 with my priest.  It was really relaxing today.  There was very little dying. :)

It was a hot day in phoenix.  My car registered 100.  The predicted high was 97 but I'm not sure how high it really got.  I checked the pool and thought about going in.  I remember as a kid 76 degree water was warm but now its still a little chilly.

I went for a walk with Riley and found a new coffee shop.  Its called Solo and I met the owner.  He seems to be a nice guy and we talked about playing music.  I don't know why but he seemed to know I played.  :) Riley got impatient with me so we didn't hang out too long.  But I'm looking forward to coming back.

It was a restful night.

The rest of this week is pretty low key as well.  I need to write four rock riffs before my guitar lesson on friday.  I'm hoping my Russian Visa is completed by the end of the week.  I need to call the band I tried out for and tell them I'm not interested.  I need to call a couple of friends.
