So yesterday was rally relaxing. I don't want to say we did nothing but I was in my pajamas until 4 p.m.
So this is what vacation feels like... :)
We spent most of the day sitting around the house. I played Super Mario Galaxy with Mikey for several hours. Its a really cool game. It has a co-op mode that lets the second player help out. So Mikey tried to help me out. :)
Finally got dressed around 4 p.m. and went for a hike down to the lake. Mom lives in a rural part of Kansas. We saw a deer on the drive home from the airport. We took our cameras, hers is much nicer than mine.

The lake was very peaceful. We sat on the dock and watched Mikey throw rocks in. The sun was just going down so the light was perfect. The plants and brush around the lake had lots of yellows and reds. Very different from the Arizona desert I'm used to.
Mom made a yummy dinner and we played video games the rest of the night. She started playing Zelda. There was much laughter as she tried to ride the horse. :)
Today we have lots of plans. We're going into the big city. Oh boy! I'm really enjoying this time with my mom and I'm glad I decided to come out.
